My little daughters often go camping or to the pool with their grandma, or with the school. In all these situations they struggle inflating bigger things, such as sleeping mats, air mattresses or even inflatable bathing accessories (circular floaties, swimming armbands). For these situations, and not only for them, it’s super valuable to have pump such as this one from Outdoor Master.

The packaging and pump itself are very nicely made. The pump is from durable-looking plastic, and I particularly like the orange hints, as it makes finding the pump much easier. It has a carrying strap, a textile pouch, and a set of adapters. The adapters look like anything we would ever need, certainly usable with the sleeping mat I tried, and with a large floatie.

When charging, red diode next to the port is lit up. When you turn the pump on, you will be probably surprised by how loud it is, but it’s more apparent in the home and less apparent for example next to a public pool. However, children were a bit scared at first, until they got used to it.

The inflation power is absolutely sufficient for our use case. It’s hard to tell whether the pump should be more powerful or not, without direct comparison to other pumps. Subjectively the power is approximately like I expected — large pieces inflate in minutes, small accessories in seconds. Everything else in between :-). Regarding battery life, in the two weeks of occasional use I was not able to fully exhaust the battery. I would still probably charge it again fully before any trip, just to make sure it won’t run out of juice somewhere outside the power grid.

Suggestions for improvements:
* Battery charge indicator would be useful, so I will know whether it’s at 50% or 10% or 90%
* Some pocket pumps have 6 adapters… I don’t know if the sixth adapter is critical or not, but I just have a slight feeling „what if there’s some important adapter missing?“ 🙂
* IPX/splash/humidity protection would be nice too, in case you forget the product somewhere in humid or wet environment; or near a pool
* Some way of attaching the adapters to the pump would be nice too.. so they won’t be lost; or it the adapters would have the same bright orange colors (that would help too)

Despite there are things that I would improve, it is still a great product that deserves 5/5 rating from me.

This little thing filled up my 7foot water hammock in minutes. Impressive deflating option as well. Battery took a couple hours to charge but has lasted me the day at the beach.

I recently acquired the Bonito Portable Electric Air Pump to add convenience to my outdoor adventures. Here is my unbiased review based on my true experience with the Portable Electric Air Pump.

Firstly, the packaging was average, but what mattered most was the content inside. The pump arrived with everything neatly organized: USB-C charging cable, various nozzles, a carrying strap, and a storage bag. The build quality pleasantly surprised me; despite being plastic, it feels sturdy and well-made, not cheap or flimsy.

I have inflated a large 170cm diameter beach ball, with this. And also another 300w mains pump, that I have. This wins hands down, taking around 8 mins to fully inflate. Compared to the 300w pumps around 13 mins.
