This watch comes packed in a quirky red box. The box looks fun but maybe a little cheap looking. I love the design of the watch. It’s quite classic but the blue face gives it a modern feel. The strap looks premium and it’s comfortable. The watch is pleasingly chunky looking but it doesn’t feel bulky on the wrist and it’s not too heavy. The watch looks amazing and it works well.
Schwantastisch –
Geliefert wird die Diesel Uhr in einem schicken Case, dass man gut und gerne auch unverpackt verschenken kann.
Das von mir bestellte Modell ist schwarz gehalten und verfügt über ein technisch-edles Ziffernblatt, welches in blau gehalten ist. Die Uhr wirkt elegant und leicht sportlich. Mit rund 165g Gewicht, rund 42mm Durchmesser und 21mm breitem Lederarmband steht die Uhr auch mittleren bis schmaleren Unterarm am Besten. Die Verarbeitung ist absolut in Ordnung und entspricht der Preisklasse. Das Leder des Armbands ist sehr weich, anschmiegsam und dementsprechend sehr bequem. Neben der Uhrzeit in Stunden, Minuten und Sekunden wird nichts weiter angezeigt.
FMR –
I quite like the embossed type pattern which is engraved onto the face of this watch along with its strap, which ties the two nicely together. There is also an interesting cutout within the watch face where the hour markers are recessed in from the bevel which runs most of the way around the face. The large numbers are possibly a little fussy for me but will be appreciated by others. A good secure latch on the strap with removable links, although no tool is supplied. It is also 50m water resistant so could quite happily be used as an every day watch and not just special occasions. I don’t have the most accurate scales but it came in at 135g on my postage scales which are usually within 5g either way.
Schwantastisch –
Muss ganz ehrlich gestehen, mein Highlight der Uhr ist das Glas, welches so orange leuchtet. Untersetzt wird dies durch das türkise Innenleben was zu dem orangenen Leuchten einen hellblauen Schimmer erzeugt.
Somit in meinem Fall ein absoluter eye catcher.
Muss aber auch ehrlich sagen, das man sich so auch etwas die Sicht nimmt und das ablesen erschwert im Gegensatz zu einem klaren Glas.
Das Uhrengehäuse ist schlicht, schwarz und trägt nicht all zu sehr auf. Somit auch ideal für schmälere Handgelenke (wie meins).
Die Riffelung oben gibt den ganzen noch einen etwas moderneren Touch.
Genauso mit den ausgestanzten Zeigern und dem etwas extravaganteren Zifferblatt.
Das Lederband ist zwar dicker und wirkt sehr massiv, schmiegt sich aber sehr gut ans Handgelenk an und lässt sich gut biegen.
Gerade mit der leichten Ledermaßerung sieht es sehr gut aus.
Die komplett in rot gehaltene Box ist eher was auffälliges, passt aber im Gesamtbild zur Uhr. Somit gut geeignet um sie darin zu verschenken.
Für mich spiegelt sich die Qualität, Design mit Gewicht im Preis wieder weshalb ich den Preis gerechtfertigt finde.
Von mir somit eine Empfehlung und volle 5 Sterne.

I have smart watch that I wear most of the time, keeping track of my health as well as in touch with alerts without having to take my phone out all the time. On occasions I do like to substitute this for a ‚proper‘ watch disconnecting from the electronics and having something that looks a little smarter. This is a good addition to my collection but could be used for every day as its not too heavy or expensive (in the grand scheme of watches I mean). Well presented in a leathery box, pleased overall with the quality and look.
